for. The two big box stores typically hirer outside contractors to provide services and do not require that they be certified or licensed because it

liability insurance they decided to give the installation service a crack. Fortunately for San Diego Home Theater we have to go back out on several of their
installs on a weekly basis which is unfortunate for the customer because they could have had their system installed correctly the first time and at
about 40% of their final cost. Zip Install is just a call center... they do not have 1 licensed certified installation professional on staff and uses
computer guys that they out source the work through a 3rd party... we don't expect them to be around much longer due to poor performance that
our customers have complained about with their 3rd party. We love Craigs list for finding deals and a few of our installers have found love in the
personals section but the fact that this is they only means of advertising is a good indication that the company does not have the means or
methods to get licensed and certified. Remember you get what you pay for...
Offers licensed electricians in every state:
San Diego Home Theater is the only company to offer licensed electricians in every state so you can have your outlet put behind your television. With Best
Buy, Circuit City or Zip Install you must find your own electrician and pay them to come out and to move the outlet. You end up paying more
to move your electrical outlet by going this route because you're paying the overhead of having two visits instead of one. The current U.S. average
to have an outlet moved / relocated up to 6' is $450. You can usually save about $150 by having your outlet relocation completed at the same time
of your television installation or home theater installation.
10+ years experience as an installation company:
San Diego Home Theater has over 16 years of experience installing televisions. We are a true installation company with installers on staff. All of the
competitors except maybe the Craigs listers are just marketing companies that then out source to 3rd party companies who then sub-contract that
out to another company. We are the only nationwide company that actually employs our own installers. Best buy just started reselling this
service themselves 2 years ago. Circuit City 2 years ago started reselling this service. Zip Install has only been in business for less than a year
from what we can tell and no telling about the Criags listers.
Full integration of all of your existing components:
San Diego Home Theater is the only company listed that will integrate all of your existing components. Best buy, Circuit City and Zip Install all have a limit
on how many components they will integrate. They also restrict what kind of equipment they will integrate. With San Diego Home Theater we do it all
because we have the experienced installers that know how to install your LCD TV, Plasma TV and integrate every type of component quickly.
Up front pricing:
San Diego Home Theater will let you know the price of all the work we perform prior to starting the work. If you properly explain your requirements or get
a site survey by San Diego Home Theater you can rest assured that what you agreed to pay is exactly what you pay. If you go with Best Buy or Circuit
City we have been told by customer that what was promised by the sales person was not what they wanted or what they got and that they
ended up needing to spend more, in the range of $300-$500 more. This is what happens when you employ sales people who have had next to no
experience or training on how to properly identify what you need. Also their sales people are more interested in you buying the TV that they get
paid commission on than making sure you're getting the installation service you really need. The same is the case for Zip, and we've seen bait and
switch tactics used by Craigs listers.

You can review pictures of a handful of installations we have done. As you can see they are not professional pictures or fake pictures. These are
real peoples houses and real installations. None of our competitors listed above offer pictures of installs they have actually completed.

San Diego Home Theater only uses installers that are certified to install the latest LCD TV, Plasma TV, commercial displays or home theater systems. All of
the competitors listed in the chart above do not hold any certification from industry certification and licensing organizations. The don't have any
certified LCD TV Installation professionals, Plasma TV Installation professionals, Commercial Display Installation or Home Theater Installation
professionals on staff because they are 100% outsourced. This prevents them from getting certified furthermore they do not require their 3rd
party contractors hold what is deemed by the installation industry the proper licensing or certifications.
